AMICE together with the other social partners for the insurance industry signed on the 9th March a Joint Declaration on diversity, inclusion and non-discrimination.

The social partners acknowledge that respectful, tolerant and inclusive workplaces are key for employee satisfaction, engagement and empowerment and for the sector’s growth, success, innovation, creativity and sustainability.

The Declaration covers three main areas: equal opportunities in the workplace; diversity and inclusion in the workplace; and fighting discrimination.

The Joint Declaration confirms the mutual and cooperative insurance sector’s existing commitment and support to further strengthening their workforce through diversity, inclusion and non discrimination.
